Calligraphy Exhibition To Open At Barg Gallery

TEHRAN, Aug. 13 (MNA) -– An exhibition of calligraphy works by Masud Ebadi entitled “Imam Ali (AS)” is to open on Sunday, August 15 at the Barg Gallery. The exhibit will continue until August 25 at the gallery located on Daman Afshar St., near Vali-e Asr Ave., north of Vanak Sq. Two exhibitions of works by female artists Laleh Nozari and Azadeh E’tebarian are also scheduled to open on Sunday at the Barg Gallery and will continue until August 24.

* Iranian Women To Give Concert on Mexican National Day

 

A group of Iranian female musicians are scheduled to perform a concert at the Mexican Embassy on Mexican National Day (September 25).

 

Jivar Sheikholeslam, the singer and leader of the music group Jivar, said that they would be performing Kurdish folk songs.

 

Several Iranian and Mexican officials are expected to attend the event. Sheikholeslam will also be performing with musician Hossein Alizadeh in October at the Niavaran Cultural Center.

 

 

* Seyhun Gallery To Host Painting Exhibition Today

 

The Seyhun Art Gallery is to host an exhibition of paintings by Hamideh Sadeqiyeh opening today. The exhibition will run through until August 19 at the gallery located on 4th Alley, near Vozara St.

Contemporary artist Ali-Asghar Ma’sumi is to hold an exhibition of his paintings at the Seyhun Gallery from August 21 to 26.
